Dancing with the Stars: Week 6 (2011)

0

Tonight on Dancing with the Stars, it’s Guilty Pleasure Night! It seems as though some stars picked their own guilty pleasures to dance to while others were assigned, regardless, it was a great night. A good chunk of the stars showed the judges what they are really made of and is making it very hard to guess who the final three will be. At this point anybody can win. Kirstie’s popularity could get her there, or Romeo’s sudden fight to win could. Who knows, but let’s discuss some Dancing!

Romeo and Chelsie Hightower: Romeo has become my new favorite! And I will say this right now, if he doesn’t win, he’ll at least be in the top 3. Romeo danced the Waltz to Celine Dion’s, My Heart Will Go On. Good choice I have to say, because that is also my guilty pleasure song. He had a beautiful dance, filled with passion and elegance. So much so, he surprised he dance partner with a kiss at the end. The judges love him, I love him and I have a good feeling about him. I’m just so happy he finally let his guard down and opened up. He scored 28 out of 30 points, earning the first 10’s of the season.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas: Chelsea Kane never fails to entertain each week. She danced the quick step to Walking on Sunshine. Her and Mark are so much fun to watch, and there choreography definitely sets them apart from any other couple out there dancing. She earned the second 10 of the season after Romeo danced. I have to say, she has to make it to the finals. She is tied for first right now with
28 points.

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson: The football star danced the Viennese Waltz to End of the Road by Boyz to Men. His Waltz was beautiful and romantic. For the first time, I didn’t want his dance to end. It just went by so fast, I wanted more. He’s definitely a contender and wants to win, and he has the ability and popularity to. He scored 27 points.

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: She’s back!!! Finally! After spending weeks having little mess ups, she came back with a great Samba. She danced to Hit me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears and the dance was absolutely amazing. She showed the personality she had in the beginning of the competition before the show became stressful. The only thing I have to say is, I hope she doesn’t lose her personality to the intensity of the show. But the fans love her so she has nothing to worry about yet. She scored 26 points.

Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel: After reading my previous recaps, I think you already know that I couldn’t stand Kendra there for a while. Well she’s another star who is back! She finally showed her personality again and that special thing that makes her a good dancer. She danced the Samba to Ricky Martin’s, Livin Lavida Loca. Her dance was so much fun to watch. She pretty much shook every fake and real part of her body. I still can’t stand her but her dance has to buy her just a few more weeks in the competition. She scored 25 points.

Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff: This week it was Ralph and Karina who had the mishap. During their Paso dob lei, Karina tripped over Ralph, but Ralph got her up and got her back in temp. The beginning of the dance started out so good, and when the fall happened, it never really went back to the way it was. I was impressed with how Ralph handled the dance after Karina fell. But unfortunately there attempt to get back to the top just landed them in the bottom. I think that Ralph has enough popularity to pull him through to next week despite the fall. But hopefully he’ll get himself back together soon. He scored 24 points.

Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke: My favorite man with the sexy muscles and the gorgeous smile fell to the bottom of the leader board after his Tango to Don’t Stop Believing by Journey. It really wasn’t his best dance and at this point in the competition you have to come out and wow the judges and the audience or you’ll get sent home. And unfortunately, I think this will be his last dance. He just lost himself and his personality in the dance and was so stiff and not exciting. He scored 22 points.

Well there you go folks. Who do you think will be the next star eliminated of the dance floor? I think it’ll be sexy wrestler Chris Jericho. The minute I saw Kendra come out and do a really good dance, I knew she wasn’t going to be the next start to go. *groans* But

I’ll predict the final two will be Ralph and Chris, and it will be Chris who leaves.

Tonight, the judges and past contenders on the show critique each star on their dancing and suggested ways to make them better. I’m still not sure why Bristol Palin was there offering her advice but it’s just another thing for people to talk about. But other than that, we are here to discuss the star that went home.

Well, it was between Cheryl and Chris and Ralph and Karina. Would Chris’s boring dance be the reason he gets sent home orwould it be the fall in Ralph’s dance that get’s him sent home? Well, by the picture at the top of the screen, you know the star to go home is Chris Jericho. So my hottie with the smile will no longer be dancing but he left the show with such understanding and happiness. He’s a good guy and it’s a shame he had to go, but it was his time.

How do you feel about Jericho being voted off?
