Dancing with the Stars: Week 7 (2011)

After last week’s elimination of Chris Jericho on Dancing with the Stars, we are down to the final 6. This week the stars had to get through 2 dances; one team dance and one individual dance. Chelsea Kane was the captain of her team choosing Romeo and Ralph Macchio to join her on the dance floor while Hines Ward was the other captain choosing Kendra Wilkinson and Kirstie Alley. There team dance was scored out of 40 points and at the end of the night those scores will combined with their individual scores.

You may be wondering why the scores are set so high this week. Well, there was an addition of a fourth judge this week, world famous Latin dance champion, Donnie Burns. So, who did well this week and who will go home? Well, let’s review.

Team 1 (Team Chelsea): The team came out and danced the Cha Cha. There dance was alright but it was the mistakes of the pro dancers that knocked the group out of sync. They were given 30 out of 40 points.

Team 2 (Team Hines) – The 2nd team came out and danced the Cha Cha also. The dance was a lot more fun and entertaining than Team 1 but there was a bunch of booty and booby shaking instead of dancing. They were out of sync as well but it was the fault of the stars not the pro dancers. They were given 30 points.

Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff: I wish that Ralph Macchio was more consistent when he danced, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that when he is really good at a certain dance, he rocks it. This week, Macchio danced the Quick Step and it was a perfect way to redeem himself after not performing so well these past few weeks. It was a great dance and so entertaining. Hopefully he can keep up the good work and not let his older limbs get to him. He received 36 out of 40 points.

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson: Ward came out and danced the Tango this week. I’m not really a big fan of Ward and kind of confused as to why the judges love him so much. Maybe it’s his smile, or that they are Steelers fans, who knows. But the judges love him and he scored 36 points.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas: I’m not going to lie; I get really pissed off when the judges don’t like there dance, when they are the best duo on the show. They are so much fun to watch and there choreography is so original, it’s a breath of fresh air from the dance moves we have to see from every other couple. This week they danced the Paso Dob Lei, and while Chelsea had trouble getting through the dance in rehearsals without smiling, she managed to hold it together for the dance. The dance was very dramatic and just great to watch. They scored 34 points.

Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel: I think its Kendra’s time to go. While she shook all of herself last week, you can’t get away with distracting the judges with your butt and fake boobs two weeks in a row. She came out and danced the Tango this week. She lost her footing throughout the whole dance and it seemed like the dance which isn’t that quick to begin with was too fast for her. The whole dance was boring and I just want her gone. She scored 31 points.

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Kirsite is so lucky that she is so loved by the majority of the viewers, because if she wasn’t, she would have gone home weeks ago. This week she danced the Jive and while it was entertaining, she got so wrapped up in acting, she forgot to dance. She lost her footing a good portion of the dance but in the end, she has to make it through to next week. People like her way more than Kendra and it would be ridiculous for her to go home next. She scored 30 points.

Romeo and Chelsie Hightower: Romeo was at the top of the leader board last week and now he’s at the bottom. I don’t think it’ll make a difference though but this is has to be the last time he screws up if he wants to make it to the finals. He danced the Samba and it was really bad. Like really bad. While there may have been a “party in his pants” there was no party on the dance floor. His hip movements were terrible and the only dancing that took place was from his partner. I don’t think he will go home but when you’re at the bottom of the leader board you should worry. He scored 30 points.

Like every week, the stars scramble in order from good to bad. But for my pick to go home this week, I’m putting my money on Kendra. I am SO done with her. I liked her in the beginning but now I’m just done. The bottom two will probably be Romeo and Kendra, but Kendra will be the one to get sent home.

Well, as you can see, the person who I wanted to see go home weeks ago finally got booted off the show. CYA!

The final two came down to Chelsea Kane and Kendra. This confuses me because Chelsea is the best star dancer on the show, so it confuses me that she’s found herself in the bottom two far too many times. But it’s how the viewers vote I guess.

Now that we are officially down to our final five, I will make my predictions for the rest of the show.

5th place: Kirstie Alley
4th place: Romeo
3rd Place: Ralph Macchio
2nd Place: Chelsea Kane
Winner: Hines Ward

We’ll see what happens.

Who do you think will win the whole competition?
