Reality TV has been brought to a whole new stupid level.

If you don’t understand the title, the show stands for “Hater”. Celebrities go head to head with there “haters” and try to win them over. Mario Lopez, the host of the show, tricks regular people into revealing there hate for a certain celebrity. Lopez then shows that hated celebrity footage of that “hater” bashing them. The celebrity then confronts the hater and tries to win them over by showing them who they really are. After the confrontation the hater and celebrity spend an afternoon hanging out and at the end of the episode we find out if the hater is still a hater.

The two celebrities on the pilot that confronted there haters were, Reality Star Snooki from The Jersey Shore and Bachelor Jake Pavelka. Future celebrities will include Eva Longoria, Kim Kardashian, Janice Dickinson, Charles Barkely, Levi Johnson, Scott Disick and The Miz.

In the end, this show is terrible. These “celebrities” go on television and act a certain way and are then surprised when people see them that way. Then they want to win people over by showing them “who they really are”. But then who are they when they’re on these shows. Reality TV is not reality TV and this show is proving that. I don’t care who the “real” Snooki is because what I see on Jersey Shore is, a drunken slob who is too busy being a party animal than a productive member of society . I don’t care if you’re a good person because in the end, what we see on TV is the only way we are going to see you. Don’t be surprised when you have haters, hating on you. You asked for this when you decided to be on TV. Just because you are rich and famous doesn’t mean those who watch you are going to love you. Lastly, don’t confuse our hate for you as jealousy.

This is a terrible show. I was hoping it would be at least somewhat entertaining, but if you want to show the real you, show it on your shows and stop trying to be someone else.

If you are still interested in this show it’s on Wed nights at 8pm on The CW.

    1. Not to mention, “haters” come with the territory of being famous. Does it really matter to Snooki that some random person bashes them, or that converting one person is going to change their public persona one iota?

They should’ve had me on that show. No matter how “cool” they are in private, I could never come to respect someone like Kim Kardashian or Snooki, because they made their fortunes doing nothing productive for society.

    2. One of the issues that guy had with Snooki was, his father was a sheriff and didn’t make the kind of money she does just for being drunk. And trust me, I feel the same way. You know how the military pays and how unfare it is to have people risking there lives to get very little and then to have pay taken away from them by the government but these assholes can walk around being “famous” cause of a name and they earn millions? It’s bullshit… You have people out there working very hard to make a living and these people do nothing but advertise themselves.

This is the last time I’m watching this show… It’s so dumb.

    3. This may be … hands down … one of the worst ideas for a television series ever. And it may not last long. This quote from The Futon Critic sums it up:

:…Said numbers for “H8R” mark the smallest audience for an original program in its time period in over two years.”

      L8R H8R…
