Carey Mulligan gets a taste of awards for this upcoming season in the 15th Annual Hollywood Festival and Hollywood Film Awards.  Mulligan will be receiving the Best Supporting Actress award for her stunning work in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive and as the sister of a sex-addict in Steve McQueen’s Shame.

The Supporting Actor award was revealed in the past weeks to be going to Christopher Plummer as the terminally ill, gay father in Mike Mills’ Beginners.

Other recipients at this year’s ceremony include Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo for their work in Michel Hazanvicius’ The Artist. Elle Fanning will be awarded for her role in J.J. Abrams’ summer hit Super 8.  Shailene Woodley, receiving raves for her work Alexander Payne’s The Descendants also will recognized.  Amber Heard from The Rum Diary, Andrea Riseborough from W.E., and Anton Yelchin from Like Crazy will also be awarded respectively.

Also, the entire cast of Tate Taylor’s The Help will receive the Ensemble award.  Star of My Week with Marilyn, Michelle Williams, will receive the Hollywood Actress Award along with Diablo Cody for writing Jason Reitman’s Young Adult.

Does this mean anything for Carey Mulligan?  Or is this the only stop on the tour for her two acclaimed performances?
