Some studios have made their 2011 Awards or For Your Consideration sites LIVE. They’re up and running and it’s so fun to look at them when considering what films will or will not be on Oscar’s radar. Not everyone is up yet and some aren’t listing categories but it’s good to see the roster that some of these studios have on their hands. Weinstein has a squad this season. Another Weinstein Oscar ceremony? We’ll see. Check em’ out below.
The Weinstein Company:
-The Artist
-Coriolanus
-The Iron Lady
-My Week with Marilyn
-Undefeated
-W.E.
-No categories listed.
20th Century Fox:
-Rio
-Rise of the Planet of the Apes
-No categories listed.
Sony Pictures Classic:
-The Skin I Live In – No categories listed.
Paramount and DreamWorks:
-Rango – Going for everything including Best Picture
-Super 8 – Joel Courtney listed as Lead. That’s cool to see even though he has zero chance and Elle Fanning listed in Supporting all alone.
-Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon – All categories listed. No acting though? Poor Shia!
-Like Crazy – Everything including Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones in their Lead categories. Jennifer Lawrence is also listed in Supporting.
-Hugo – No categories listed yet.
-Young Adult – Everything including Best Picture and Actress, Charlize Theron. Patton Oswalt and Patrick Wilson are listed in Supporting.
-The Adventures of Tin Tin: The Secret of the Unicorn – No categories listed yet.
Focus Features:
-Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy – Nothing surprising to report
-Pariah – There seems to be a big push for Lead Actress, Adepero Oduye (A surprise LAFCA winner?)
-Beginners – Nothing new to report. Push for Plummer.
-Jane Eyre – Michael Fassbender is listed as Lead. Can they try to split his votes anymore between A Dangerous Method and Shame.
-Hanna – A push Saoirse Ronan? Waste of time.
-The Debt – Jessica Chastain is listed as Lead along with co-star Helen Mirren. The first step in securing a Supporting Actress spot for Chastain without splitting? Maybe.
DreamWorks Animation:
-Listing Puss in Boots and Kung Fu Panda 2 for consideration for Picture and Animated Feature.
Disney Pictures:
-The Help – Viola Davis is officially listed in Lead Actress along with Emma Stone. It also has the Original Song, “The Living Proof.”
-War Horse – Only two supporting actors listed, Niels Arestrup and Peter Mullan. Jeremy Irvine officially Lead with Emily Watson in Supporting.
-Winnie the Pooh, Cars 2, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides have their technical categories listed but not for Best Picture. The studio knows what they got it seems.
Sony Pictures:
Anonymous
Arthur Christmas
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Ides of March
Moneyball
-No categories listed yet.
Fox Searchlight:
The Descendants
Shame
Win Win
Martha Marcy May Marlene
The Tree of Life
-The site doesn’t list categories but we know where most of the suspects are being placed.
Lionsgate:
-Warrior – Only film on the roster. Can Hardy and Nolte make it through?
Comment and discuss.

Where are they campaigning Brad Pitt, Hunter McCracken and Jessica Chastain for Tree of LIfe?? I don’t think that’s as obvious as it seems.
