Independent filmmakers seek to complete rare micro-budget trilogy.

Read the Press Release:
Warrenton, VA  (November 1st, 2011) − Legendary “Blair Witch Project” co-director Eduardo Sanchez wants you to take notice of a group of up-and-coming filmmakers lead by Justin Timpane of Endlight Entertainment. These Virginia-based filmmakers are behind the domestically and internationally distributed “Ninjas Vs Zombies” and “Ninjas Vs Vampires”, which have earned a cult-fanbase, a comic book series, and more. Now, the “Ninjas vs” crew is in the midst of pre-production for their third film, “Ninjas Vs Monsters”. “What could be better than Halloween mixed with Monsters, ‘The Blair Witch Project’, and Ninjas” says “Ninjas Vs Monsters” Executive Producer, Daniel Ross.

In apparent agreement, Eduardo Sanchez, whose megahit “Blair Witch Project” was shot on a shoestring budget just outside the DC area, has appeared in a promotional video for “Ninjas Vs Monsters”. “The Blair Witch Project” went on to gross over 140 Million Dollars. “You’ve really gotta have the passion, be determined to get through many obstacles, get kicked in the face, and then get back up and do it all over again,” says Sanchez, “After being kicked in the face twice, [the “Ninjas Vs Monsters” creators] are ready to do it a third time. “

After self-financing their first two films, the team has begun a campaign through the fundraising organization called KICKSTARTER to solicit funds for “Monsters”, where they hope to raise $15,000.  November 4 is the deadline for the crew to meet their goal or else the donations will be returned and the filmmakers will get nothing. With the funds, the crew intends to upgrade its cameras and lenses, develop new makeup effects, and hire a stunt team.  In return, donors receive a range of incentives including memorabilia from the first two films, copies of the movies and comics, credits in the film, walk-on roles, and even a chance to party with the cast and crew at the premiere.

“Giving them this kind of financial support is really going to make all the difference in the world and make the third film absolutely the best one of the trilogy.” says Sanchez, who appears in the latest video posted on www.NinjasWin.com, “You couldn’t really put your money into a better low budget film than ‘Ninjas vs. Monsters’.” Writer/Director Justin Timpane was amazed. “Ed is a hero to a lot of low-budget filmmakers and for him to choose us as the best bet going is an amazing thing”.

Through KICKSTARTER the “Ninjas” team seeks funding to start filming in early 2012. The “Ninjas Vs” movie fans can expect to see classic monsters unite to take on the heroic Ninjas in a battle for the fate of the world.  Says Sanchez, “It’s gonna be a freaking crazy, funny, gory, nutty adventure.”

The “Ninjas Vs Monsters” site, including the video with Ed, is located at www.NinjasWin.com.
