The sad but expected outcome…
Good ridance. An overrated film by an overrated director. Corey Stoll was the only thing to like about it.
Readers: I love you. Clayton you nearly had me convinced Drive was getting a surprise boot. The use of James Durbins song in the top 4 made me think a major shock was coming and Drive would get the boot. Not so! Needless to say, I am very happy with the final 3. Speaking of James, thanks for playing my old high school buddy’s song. Love that studio version.
I gotta say all four of these films made my top 10 but since this is the final four I gotta say the right film went home. I also agree with Joseph re: Drive.
Mr. Davis, why do you make me sh!t my pants? I thought Drive was gone! Great relief.
The Artist is nominated for ten Academy Awards…not eleven. I’m surprised Shame and Drive are part of the final three.
Expected outcome now it seems like a collision course to the Final 2 for The Artist and Drive. I just don’t think Shame is gonna make it.
Sad to see Midnight in Paris get eliminated.
I think the final 2 will be Drive and Shame.
I think Drive is headed to the finals if people who vote for it aren’t complacent and distracted by now…
