By the by, on the staff predictions, there’s a last minute change…I have Moneyball listed as my Adapted prediction, but I’m actually predicting The Descendants. Just a note.

Joey M, I agree with last minute change. Sorkin won last year, I’m going with The Descendant for Adapted Screenplay in the Oscar pool having with friends. In agreement with Frankie D.’s above comment. Apparently Mr. Contratti has a super wealth of movie knowledge. I would love to know more about him. Maybe you can have him as a guest on your audio chats. Would love to know about his picture with Christopher Plummer on his blog. Enjoy your evening.

Maybe The Artist will sweep, but I really think Scorsese or Malick have a very, very good chance of winning director.
