    One of the great things about advances in movies and technology is that it allows for a more interactive movie experience through deleted scenes, commentaries, and trivia. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Facebook, a company known for its invention, has launched a new app called YEAH, for movie lovers. The app, which debuted on May 2, will allow movie watchers to open a 2nd screen option to view the bonus features.

    Michael Arndt to re-write ‘Catching Fire’

    Does the anticipated sequel have trouble ahead...?

    It looks like trouble might be brewing in the world of Panem. First, the selection of Francis Lawrence to helm ‘Catching Fire’ hasn’t exactly gotten tongues wagging, and now word has come that Simon Beaufoy’s script is getting a rewrite. Lionsgate seems to have hired Michael Arndt to take the gig, and while that’s not a bad thing at all, it suggests that right now this movie is not up to snuff and would currently pale in comparison to ‘The Hunger Games’. A lot can change, but this all doesn’t inspire confidence. You can read the story from The Hollywood Reporter here, but after the jump I’ll get into what this might mean for the movie itself…
