What do you think of the choices Nicole Kidman has been making lately (Paperboy, Gellhorn, Railway Man, Stoker and Grace) to me it reminds me of her career in the early 2000′s when she worked on (Moulin, Hours, Cold Mountain, Dogville and Birth)? Also what other actresses do you think are doing well at picking worthy projects lately? (For me it is Marion Cotillard, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron and Amy Adams)

I don’t see The Beasts of the Southern Wild anywhere in your Oscar Predictions, but do you think the reception it received at Cannes will improve its chances. Even if the film gets snubbed, do you think its Quvenzhané Wallis could be this years Keisha Castle Hughes?

Why do think young actors have such a tougher time breaking through with the academy then the young actresses? an in your opinion have there been any performances since Haley Joel Osment’s nomination that also deserved recognition?

2006 was a big year in film. But the Academy went crazy that year.
Why Children of Men not nominated for Best Picture or Best Director?

Any disappointments in seeing that you will have to wait another year to see Gravity? Ah, I am!
But do you see “Hyde Park on Hudson” becoming a real-player to take the grand prize. Can the Academy want something fresh this year and not just a typical bait-fare begging for the Oscar?
