After being a longtime favorite of the festival crowds, the critics and the writers at the Academy, PT Anderson finally broke through into the directing line-up for There Will Be Blood and I believe leftover love could really boost his chances but once again, I guess the film will be quite divisive. But sometimes films that are supposed to be divisive go all the way – No Country For Old Men did it. I believe that Anderson has a better shot than the film but who knows. With Harvey anything is possible. If he pulls off a third best picture victory in three years…
