    3. I completely agree with Robert on the Razzies. They are quite cowardly when it comes to their nominees. I mean, are all the “Twilight” films so bad that they need to reserve a spot for it every single time? And the point about them possibly nominating DiCaprio for “J. Edgar” would have been great, even though I like the film. Also, about Daniel Day-Lewis, they had the opportunity for “Nine” and didn’t take it, so they I see them having little backbone.

Cannot wait for ACCA 2000, as well as 1999. That will be a really good year.

    4. Agree with (most of) you about Brave. I removed it from my Best Picture predix this morning. It has to be something special for an animated film to get in the BP lineup, and Brave ain’t it. Good, not great. It will be interesting to see if it remains the favorite to win in its own category, though I don’t see any big threats on the horizon (Frankenweenie, maybe?).

And my bet would be on Marigold Hotel to win BP at this point. Not that I would vote for it… but I could see the older crowd carrying that in.
