Want to see the Production Notes for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’?

A treat for those who usually aren't usually privy to this sort of thing...

One of the cooler things about going to press screenings is that you get your hands on Production Notes. Sometimes it’s only a dozen pages or so, but sometimes it’s a big packet of information and goodies about the flick you’re about to see. Lucky for you guys, Warner Brothers is taking a more democratic approach to their notes for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and making them available for anyone who wants them. You can download them at the website for the film here. I won’t spoil anything for you guys, but after the jump I’ll hint a bit at what the notes contain. I’ll keep it spoiler-free, I promise. Take a look below:

This is essentially what you get with your standard set of Production Notes, but the big difference here is how much of it there is. It’s about 50 pages! I particularly liked some of the quotes contained in it, especially one that gives a bit of a hint at the origin of Bane. I can’t wait to get my hands on a real copy in a few days at my screening of the flick, but until then…this is pretty cool.

When he’s not obsessing over new Oscar predictions on a weekly basis, Joey is seeing between 200 and 300 movies a year. He views the best in order to properly analyze the awards race/season each year, but he also watches the worst for reasons he mostly sums up as "so you all don't have to". In his spare time, you can usually find him complaining about the Jets or the Mets. Still, he lives and dies by film. Joey's a voting member of the Internet Film Critics Association as well. Today the IFCA, tomorrow the world!
