and to comment on Nolan…… Nolan is such an amazing director……. it’s beyond the Batman Trilogy. His track record is better then most of the othe directors that are his age and hot right now. Waiting for the next Nolan film is like being a junkie waiting for the next fix, even finding out the name or whoes in it or anything about it is like little tastes……. lol…….

oh and I think banes voice might depend on the actual theaters sound system, cause from the very beginning of the movie I had no problem uderstandinig everything he said in my theater yet I’ve heard many say it was very difficult to undstand him at times……..I was at the Palms IMAX in Vegas…….

I felt the lack of the batsuit didnt detract from the movie at all, in fact it made it more real…… the movie was indeed still about batman, but like the first one, the lack of the suit made sense……. Almost like he had come full circle…..

@Abbie – I loved the film. I know some people aren’t as crazy about it as I am but I’m surprised you would use the word “ordinary” to describe it. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a movie so big and epic and yet felt so real.

I disagree with your point about Foley. He’s an extremely important character–He is Gotham. Cocky at the beginning, worrisome and pathetic during Bane’s reign of terror, and then when he sees that Batman symbol on the bridge, he is inspired and fearless. Leading a charge against Bane’s thugs donning his full uniform. He was a huge part of the finale.

Everybody at Awards Circuit is giving it ****, almost as if you guys had decided to rate it so highly before seeing the film itself (okay, Clayton gave it ***1/2, but he made it sound like it was the greatest film ever made). I would love to read Anna Belickis’ review about this film – she’s the only one not to have given her verdict so far. I thought the film was quite ordinary, to be completely honest.
