Looks terrific -- the man did not falter with Precious (2009) did he? And Kidman, in the right role, can be astounding. Can’t wait for this one.

I can't help but admit being strangely drawn to this seedy, Southern-based crime drama. Daniels impressed me with Precious, so I'm at the very least curious to see how he has grown as a filmmaker since then. The cast doesn't do anything to make me want to see it less, esp. Cusack and Kidman (looking her best in a decade).
