Every time someone has to say something like (deservedly) when referencing Bigelow's win, it makes me think even more that it was the wrong choice. I'm cautious about this one's chances. It's bound to be patriotic. I guess. So there is a chance it could be liberal Hollywood's chance to look like they love America just as much as Middle America.

This could be something out of this planet. I don't think there has ever been this sort of government/film industry collaboration, ever.

@ Eddie, actually a lot. The make-up & hair, costume, and set design are more up in the air. So are the supporting categories. DiCaprio will have an easier time winning now that Phoenix seems to have moved up and Maguire is out. Even though you guys had Mulligan going lead, most people predicted her going supporting. Any which way, Hathaway is still the favorite as of this point, unless she goes lead which I am expecting, and Knightley is comfortably reigning on the lead actress category. Actually with the Great Gatsby gone this year, The Hobbit might have an easier time breaking in.
