		<description><![CDATA[Something that works in the favor of Malick or Haneke is that only the Directors Branch has control over the selection of the nominees, hence why you often get the &quot;lone director.&quot; I think those are two names that could very well be in the mix, as well as some other esoteric names.

The reason why I think &quot;Lincoln&quot; will be a better recipient of Oscar praise than &quot;War Horse&quot; is because people actually want to see the former. &quot;War Horse&quot; was something Spielberg did in his downtime while on post-production on Tintin that was quickly shot, while &quot;Lincoln&quot; has been in the conversation for many years and is being anticipated to be seen.]]></description>
