Les Miserables has been making a lot of noise this week with that Christmas  Day release date, and hot on the heels of that news comes an extended first look at the filming of the musical. The creative team and actors talk at length about the decision to sing live and we get a look at some new footage from the film. It really seems they’ve gone to great lengths to give the musical a grittier, more realistic feel. Will that lead to the Oscar glory that many, including myself, are predicting? Who knows, but this clip is incredibly effective at explaining why movie musicals should do more live singing. Check out the clip and let us know what you think!
