Supernatural dramas have been all the rage the past few years but while we’ve been regaled with tales of vampires and werewolves, we haven’t seen to many movies focusing on witches. That will change come February, when Beautiful Creatures hits the screen. Beautiful Creatures is a Southern gothic tale about a local teenager and the mysterious new girl in town who uncover dark secrets about their respective families. While the initial teen romance might put some people off, this movie is based off a well regarded series of books and features a great cast of supporting players (Jeremy Irons, Emma Thompson, Viola Davis and Emmy Rossum). Check out the trailer after the jump!

      • This is almost like the reverse Twilight with the guy being the human and the girl being supernatural. I’m intrigued cause we don’t see a lot of witch movies and that cast is great…but I see why you’d be turned off lol
