There’s just something about it that I can’t put my finger on, maybe because when watching it again you know there is no hope of escape for that poor man (even if he did kill Jeff’s son, Dylan). Greatest horror franchise in movie history in my opinion.

Of course they’re not Oscar-worthy by any means, but I just love the fact that they are all so inter-connected even if they are ludicrous. It doesn’t pander to the uninitiated which I am a fan of.

And besides, the first one is honestly one of the most influential horror pics of the millennium.
