    2. Am I the only one having some technical issues with this week’s power hour? Every few minutes it would jump back a few seconds. It was like listening to the Power Hour version of Memento…

And my favorite “that guy” from movies? Pete Postlethwaite. That guy was awesome.

    3. Great discussion as always, guys! Yes, a film has changed my mind on second viewing for the better. My story is similar to Clayton’s, even though it’s about a different film. When I first watched “Shutter Island,” I thought the ending was so outlandish and unbelievable, that I couldn’t enjoy the film’s conclusion when having to simultaneously process the giant narrative smack in my face, and therefore walked out of the theater with a substandard impression. However, the second time through, the clues were more evident and the film instantly clicked for me. Love it to pieces now, and it became my favorite film by the end of 2010. Still think DiCaprio’s delivers an Oscar-winnin (yeah, I said it) performance, especially in the scene where he *SPOILERS* discovers his kids lying dead in the lake.
