People Like Us poster DVD cover

    UPDATE: Last day to enter!

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more exciting around here, the Awards Circuit is proud to announce its first reader competition! As a thank you to all of our loyal fans we’ve got a copy of family drama People Like Us, starring Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, and the insatiable Michelle Pfeiffer, to give away. Back in June, our very own Joseph gave the movie a very favourable 3-star review, citing the chemistry between Banks and Pine as some of the decade’s finest!

However there’s a catch. Listeners of our Power Hour podcast will be familiar with Mark’s popular ‘Did You Know?’ feature where our human film encyclopedia presents a different fascinating movie fact each week. So in order to be in with a chance of winning we want you to come up with the most unique film trivia fact you can think of. Be sure to make it as obscure and interesting as you can!

So what are you waiting for? Leave your fact in the comments section below! The AC team will personally judge the winner, who will be announced on Monday 15th October. Good luck!

Please note this competition is only open to US residents, and entries are limited to one per reader.

    5. The plot of the Toy Story 3 is loosely based on the original treatment for Toy Story. Originally, the main character was going to be Tinny, the title character in Tin Toy (1988). The original treatment had Tinny getting lost at a rest stop and being found by a junk man, who throws him into back of his truck. Tinny meets a ventriloquist dummy and they both decide to stick together. But in the end they end up in a preschool where they’ll never get lost or outgrown. Tinny can be seen on the cover of a magazine in one scene in Toy Story 3.
