    3. I like the nomination for Greta Gerwig; Damsels in Distress has been unduly neglected this season.

      I find it odd that the Detroit critics–from a city I.believe is about 80% African-American–give so many nominations to The Impossible, which appears to something of a whitewash portrait of events. (And why is Ewan McGregor Supporting here? Does he really have that much less screentime than Naomi Watts?)

    6. I would have thought that Detropia should have been guaranteed a spot on their doc list. Unless they just felt like that story has been done over and over?
