    1. The lack of Lincoln in Screenplay is unexpected, to say the least. Doesn’t hurt its chances down the road in the slightest, but I’m a bit surprised.

    3. I think I rather like this group. No Master and tossing in The Avengers for fun. Issy Allen for young person. Good movies without a film snob lurking anywhere.

    4. Again, not that it matter but extremely happy to see a screenplay nom for Arbitrage. Such an entertaining and well done film.

    5. Do you guys think Javier Bardem has a shot at an Oscar nom?

      • A shot? I think not but crazier things have happened. I find it very unlikely.

        • Well Bardem jumped in when everyone had forgotten about Biutiful (that includedalmost every precurser award), so I think he has a big shot at making it in. (He is likely to get a GG nom since they love popular films)

    6. I like the random nod to Mary Elizabeth Winstead. I’m still irritated by the failure of anyone to recognize Cloud Atlas’ editing.
