    1. Okay, I don’t understand this. One of the reasons speculated for Amy Adams missing out on the SAG nomination was that her character didn’t have much to do in ‘The Master. In other words, it wasn’t that significant a part which would merit a nomination. So, how does she end up winning here over the likes of Helen Hunt and Anne Hathaway? I wouldn’t have minded one bit if Sally Field had won, but Adams over Hunt AND Hathaway? Really?? Even if Adams does get nominated on Thursday, does she really deserve to win ahead of Hunt, Field and Hathaway? I’m seriously missing something here.

      • This is honestly a pretty terrible year for supporting actresses. I’d either root for Ann Dowd (for the hell of it) or Anne Hathaway for The Dark Knight Rises (because she was great there). My choice would either be Hathaway or Salma Hayek in Savages, but there’s no one here I can get truly excited about. It would actually be as good a year as any to give it to Adams, just because of how many times she’s been nominated and lost (and she’s pretty good, too).
