Hello readers! Have you all recovered from the Oscar nomination announcements and Critics Choice Awards? It has been a whirlwind few days for the staff but we have even more good things on the way in the coming weeks because…the Awards Circuit is heading to Sundance! The Sundance Film Festival is one of the biggest festivals for independent cinema and in recent years, been a place where you could say you saw a Best Picture Oscar contender (Precious, Winter’s Bone, and Beasts of the Southern Wild, to name a few). Joey and I will be heading out to the snowy town of Park City, Utah to bring you all the news, reviews, and interviews you’re looking for.
We will soon release our most anticipated films but you can click over to the Sundance website to see the full list of films!

Love this time of year with movies. Will there be an interactive blog during the Golden Globes tomorrow night? I love being a part of it.

I am so jealous of you guys! Have fun, enjoy and keep us posted of talent coming from Utah. The films I am most excited about are Roger Ross Williams’ “God Loves Uganda”, Morgan Neville’s “Twenty Feet From Stardom”, Greg Barker’s “MANHUNT”, Stacie Passon’s “Concussion”, Kyle Patrick Alvarez’s “C.O.G.”, Francesca Gregorini’s “Emanuel and the Truth about Fishes”, and finally of course John Krokidas’s “Kill Your Darlings”.
To all Sundance fans, and films fans in general, check out the Youtube page for Sundance. They have incredible profiles on the films and it’s truly worth it!
