Does it every cross your mind what persuaded someone to pick a certain outfit to wear on the red carpet? Over the years I’ve grown to love fashion, and if I had the money to dress better I would, but alas I do not. Although, it’s free to judge our many famous celebrities on what they choose to wear. Sunday at the Golden Globes the stars sported many different trends. Take a look at my list of the Worst Dressed women at the Golden Globes.

Halle Berry usually knows how to make a dress work, and even though she looks amazing in this Versace gown, the dress is all over the place with its design.

Jessica Chastain is beautiful no matter what she wears, but this Calvin Klein gown makes the important part of her body look unflattering.

This is an example of a great dress gone wrong. Kaley Cuoco’s Zuhair Murad gown is beautiful, but it’s ruined by her hair, make up and the dress hanging off her arms. She looks like she’s drunk and just rolled out of bed.

Modern Family’s Ariel Winter looks age appropriate in this Valentino mini dress, but this dress would be better suited for a baby shower, not an awards show.

Kerry Washington has looked fabulous on her Django Unchained press tour, but this Miu Miu dress doesn’t make sense.

Helen Mirren usually looks like royalty on the red carpet, but this Badgley Mischka gown is far from it.

Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller forgot to take off her pajama’s before she hit the red carpet. Miller fell in love with this two-piece Erdem dress and I can’t understand why.

It’s never a good thing when you’re known for being a fashion critic and you choose a horrible dress to wear on the red carpet. E! Host Giuliana Rancic looks awful in this Celia Kritharioti gown. Sorry Giuliana, I love watching your show but you just made my worst dressed list.
Who made your worst dressed list Sunday night?

” .. but this Calvin Klein gown makes the important part of her body look unflattering.”
Surely there was a better way of saying this dress wasn’t the best choice. The “important part” is what, exactly? Hmmm …

Her chest… it was a joke.

It is just a “joke” a male couldn’t make … other than that, I agree with your choices. There isn’t really one here that I would defend although Halle’s looked great on the runway.

A “joke” a male couldn’t make. Other than that … I agree whole-heartedly with your choices. There isn’t really any here that I would defend — other than saying Halle’s looke great on the runway and Mirren is still stunning in that dress at her age.

Again with this site and posting … argh!!!
I might as well say — Emily Mortimer. Ugh! I love her and that dress was awful.

There wasn’t a better way of saying this wasn’t Chastain’s best fashion moment? What, pray tell IS “the important part of her body”? Hmmm …

(Sorry, Anna — my comments aren’t posting and the site told me there was an error with my comment. Only to find out it DID post after I try to retype it).

Maybe they all deliberately dressed up “badly”, so that you could write about them
As Helena Bonham Carter once said (regarding her eccentric wardrobe),”People are going to b**** about you anyway, so you might as well give them something genuine to b**** about.”
Taste in clothes is entirely a matter of personal choice. I think the title should say ‘Anna Young’s list of Worst Dressed at the Golden Globes’. ‘Cos Perez Hilton loved Helen Mirren’s dress even though you don’t like it. Like I said, entirely a matter of personal taste. If you ask me, I love all these dresses, even Halle Berry’s. Maybe because I’m not a Hollywood celebrity.

Yea, I know Helena Bonham Carter said that because you tell me everytime I do one of my best/worst dressed articles… and seeing how this is from my perspective I didn’t think i needed to put my name in the title. thanks for the input as always.
