bennett miller foxcatcher
With Oscar ballots in the hands of AMPAS voters this holiday break, Bennett Miller’s “Foxcatcher” is hoping to score multiple nominations for Best Picture and its actors Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo.  Also in the mix is Miller himself but a recent Twitter rant by the real Mark Schultz, played in the film by the talented Channing Tatum, seems to be airing out some dirty laundry.

Evidently, Schultz is not happy with the way he’s portrayed in the film as he’s been taking to social media since as early as December 29 and up to earlier today.  Here are some of the tweets, which are also linked to his facebook page, released thus far:

No one from Mark Schultz’s camp was available for questions. “Foxcatcher” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year where Miller won the Directing prize. The film went on to screen at the Telluride, New York, and AFI Film Festivals.

What did you think of “Foxcatcher” and the way Mark Schultz is portrayed?
