‘Arrival,’ ‘Sully,’ ‘La La Land’ and More to Screen at Telluride Film Festival

Sully, Telluride Film Festival

This year’s Telluride Film Festival announced its lineup earlier today, and there are some very familiar names on board. Venice standouts “La La Land” and “Arrival” will show, as will Clint Eastwood’s “Sully.”

Cannes star “Toni Erdmann” and Kenneth Lonergan’s hit “Manchester by the Sea” will also screen at the fest.

Other standouts include Errol Morris’ “The B-Side: Elsa Dorfman’s Portrait Photography,” Werner Herzog’s “Into the Inferno” and Bertrand Tavernier’s “My Journey Through French Cinema” on the documentary side.

Telluride often offers a glimpse at what to expect on Oscar night. Seven of the last eight Best Picture winners have had a presence at the fest.

The 43rd annual Telluride Festival runs from Sept. 2-5.
