The Phoenix Film Critics Society announced their winners and provided some interesting results.

La La Land” was the overwhelming winner, with seven total awards including Best Picture and Best Director for Damien Chazelle. Emma Stone, who until very recently hadn’t won any prizes from critics, adds the third trophy to her name. The same can be said for Jeff Bridges, who bested usual winner Mahershala Ali here.

Hell or High Water” also had a good day, taking Best Original Screenplay and surprising with a win in Best Ensemble.
