EXCLUSIVE: New TV Spot Featurette on ‘Fences’ With Denzel Washington

With Oscar ballots in hand, AMPAS is beginning to weigh in on the year, and one of the hottest films to make a strong showing is Denzel Washington’s “Fences” from Paramount Pictures. We have an exclusive featurette, showing the outstanding cast and showcasing the leadership of producer, director and star Denzel Washington.

Already nominated for the SAG Ensemble, and winner of the Critics’ Choice and Golden Globe awards for Best Supporting Actress (Viola Davis), the film continues to build considerable momentum and is expected to make a strong showing at the next guild nominations including a possible Directors Guild of America citation.

As championed by many all season, Washington is a formidable contender and challenger for the Best Actor Oscar. With the SAG Awards next on the docket, where he has never won, this could be a “turnaround” as seen by previous late surge winners like Sean Penn (“Milk”) and Jean Dujardin (“The Artist”).
