Woody Allen‘s newest film, “Wonder Wheel,” has a new poster ahead of next week’s New York Film Festival.

“Wonder Wheel” was selected as the Closing Night film at the 55th NYFF, where it will screen in October. The film features a lifeguard at 1950s Coney Island telling the story of a carousel operator and his wife.

Woody Allen wrote and directed the film. Best known for his signature tales of New York, Allen won his first Oscars for writing and directing 1977’s Best Picture “Annie Hall.” He was also nominated for Leading Actor for that film. He has since gone on to an additional 17 nominations, winning again for “Hannah and Her Sisters” in 1987 and “Midnight in Paris” in 2012.

“Wonder Wheel” stars Kate Winslet. The seven-time Academy Award nominee won for her leading role in the 2009 film, “The Reader.” She also appears this year alongside Idris Elba in “The Mountain Between Us.”

The film also stars Juno Temple (“Black Mass”), Justin Timberlake (“Inside Llewyn Davis”), Debi Mazar (“Entourage”), James Belushi (“Twin Peaks”), and Max Casella (“Jackie”).

Amazon Studios is distributing the film. Amazon has made a big name for itself in terms of original television programming. They have also successfully moved into theatrical distribution, too. Amazon’s filmography includes “The Lost City of Z” from earlier this year, and last year’s Best Picture nominee, “Manchester by the Sea.”

They are also distributing two other NYFF special selections: “Last Flag Flying” and “Wonderstruck.”

“Wonder Wheel” will be released in limited theaters on December 1.
