20th Century Fox released a new trailer for its upcoming film, “Murder on the Orient Express.”

The film is a remake of the 1974 adaptation, based on the Agathie Christie novel of the same name. It is one of Christie’s best known works, and was first published in 1934.

“Murder on the Orient Express” is a murder mystery in which everyone is a suspect. When a passenger is killed, the train and all its passengers are stranded in a storm. Renowned detective Hercule Poirot sets out to solve the crime before the murderer strikes again.

Kenneth Branagh stars as the infamous Poirot. He also directed the film. Branagh is a five-time Academy Award nominee, with nominations for acting, writing, and directing. His first nominations came for both directing and starring in the 1989 film “Henry V.”

Johnny Depp plays the ill-fated passenger who gives the other passengers plenty of motives to murder him. The three-time Oscar nominee has seven additional projects in various stages of production. He also starred in this summer’s critically panned “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”

The stranded suspects include Michelle Pfeiffer (“mother!”), Daisy Ridley (“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”), Penélope Cruz (“Volver”), Judi Dench (“Victoria & Abdul”), Willem Dafoe (“The Florida Project”), Josh Gad (“Beauty and the Beast”), Olivia Colman (“The Lobster”), Derek Jacobi (“Cinderella”), and Leslie Odom Jr. (“Law and Order: SVU”).

The 1974 film received six Academy Award nominations, including Adapted Screenplay, Costume Design, Original Score, and Cinematography. Albert Finney starred as Hercule Poirot. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Ingrid Bergman won the prize for Best Supporting Actress.

“Murder on the Orient Express” will arrive in theaters on November 10.
