Boston Online Film Critics Announce Awards, ‘Get Out’ Picks Up Another Best Picture Prize

The Boston Online Film Critics Association announced their 2017 award winners on Saturday morning.

BOFCA launched in 2012. Now in their sixth year, the organization selects “Get Out” as Best Film of 2017. Past winners include “Moonlight,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and “Snowpiercer.” With the exception of “Snowpiercer,” all of their Best Picture selections have competed for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

This year’s awards also included a win for Paul Thomas Anderson, another award for Timothée Chalamet, and a tie for Best Score. The group also chose their Top 10 Films of 2017.
