Paramount Pictures released a new trailer for their upcoming horror film, “A Quiet Place.”
The film tells the story of a family of four that have survived some kind of threat from mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. “If they hear you, they hunt you.”
John Krasinski directed and stars as the patriarch of the family. He also co-wrote the screenplay. Krasinski’s breakthrough role came as Jim Halpert in the TV comedy, “The Office.” More recently, he starred in the Michael Bay film, “13 Hours,” and is set to star in the title role of Amazon’s new series, “Jack Ryan.”
Emily Blunt plays Krasinski’s wife in the film. She also happens to be his real-life wife. Blunt won a Golden Globe for her Supporting Role in the TV movie “Gideon’s Daughter” in 2005. She has also been nominated for four other Golden Globes, including the first for her breakthrough role in “The Devil Wears Prada.” Later this year, she will take on the beloved role of Mary Poppins in “Mary Poppins Returns.”
Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds also star as the couple’s children. Just last year, Jupe starred opposite Matt Damon in “Suburbicon,” and with Jacob Tremblay in “Wonder.” Simmonds made her feature film debut last year in “Wonderstruck.”
“A Quiet Place” will be in theaters on April 6.
