Warner Bros announced a social media initiative to bring together Wizarding World fans across the globe.
The trailer for “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is set to debut on Tuesday.
Warner Bros issued this announcement:
Fans everywhere are encouraged to join together, via social media, as the adventure in the Wizarding World continues in the new Fantastic Beasts film—either by posting a photo of themselves with their own wand with the hashtag, or by using the #WandsReady photo uploader on FantasticBeasts.com, which will allow them to create a personalized magical video to share on their social channels.
Everyone who has been on this exciting journey through the Wizarding World would love to see you share YOUR best #WandsReady photo! As always, we thank you for your support and look forward to sharing the movie with all of you this November.
The film is the sequel to 2016’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” and a prequel to the “Harry Potter” series. This is the second film in a planned quintology, which stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a British wizard with a love for magical creatures. Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, and Alison Sudol return as Newt’s American pals. Johnny Depp stars as the criminal Gellert Grindelwald, and Jude Law joins the series as a much younger Albus Dumbledore.
You can join with fellow Wizarding World fans tomorrow. Just get your #WandsReady.
