Fantastic Fest has shown that it’s going to become a strong festival for genre films this year. It’s already booked some horror films, including the highly anticipated “Halloween” a few weeks prior to its release. The festival will open with the J.J. Abrams produced “Overlord,” set for a November release.  Now, the festival is embracing some of the other films on the horizon. Chief among them are “Bad Times at the El Royale,” “Under the Silver Lake,” “Mid90s,” “Destroyer” and more.

According to Deadline, “Bad Times at the El Royale” will serve as the closing night film. Also of note, “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” returns to the festival scene. A few films that did well at Toronto, including “The Wind”  Deadline supplies the remaining features set to show at the festival. Take a look at the full list below.
