IDA Documentary Awards Hands ‘Minding the Gap’ Two Prizes

It’s another good day for the underdog documentary of the season. “Minding the Gap” continues to make waves in a big way. Yesterday, the LAFCA handed the documentary a Best Editing prize. It also finished as the runner-up from the organization for Best Documentary. However, their big prize came late in the night, with the International Documentary Association handing Bing Lui the Best Documentary prize. The group also gave prizes to “Hale County This Morning, This Evening,” “Bisbee ’17,” “Wild Wild Country” and more. the rest of the winners can be found below.
