Boston Society Film Critics Winners Revealed: ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ Speaks Volumes

So, the Boston Society Of Film Critics announced their winners yesterday and their love for “If Beale Street Could Talk” was vocal. The NY-based drama managed to win three prizes: Best Film, Best Score, and Best Supporting Actress. But their love for films in New York City didn’t stop there since “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” won three prizes as well.

Meanwhile, “Shoplifters” took home Best Foreign Language Film and Lynne Ramsay pulled out a strong victory in Best Director, continuing her critical momentum.
