Las Vegas Film Critics Society Winners – Lady Gaga Goes Big, ‘Roma’ Goes Bigger

0

As soon as Lady Gaga sung her first notes for “A Star Is Born,” she became one of the important pieces of the 2018-2019 season. The singer-turned-actress wowed audiences as the latest incarnation of the character but added something special to this version. With original songs written by the multi-faceted entertainer, and a killer role herself, Gaga has arrived. The Las Vegas Film Critics agreed, presenting her with wins for Best Actress and Best Original Song. Their top prize went to “Roma,” which also won Director, Cinematography, Editing, and Foreign Language film. The full list of winners can be found below, as can their rankings for the Top 10 movies of 2018.
