The start of a new year brings about a whole new slate of movies to drool over. The first few months can be rough, but more and more, exciting films are coming out all throughout the calendar year. Just about any month now can have a title that gets tongues wagging!
Today we want to hear about three movies in 2019 that you’re most excited for. With nothing having come out yet that would really get your blood pumping, it’s all sunshine and roses ahead. In a very real way, this is one of the best parts of the film year. Right now, everything is as good as you can imagine. It’s all potential, with little in the way of facts to diminish it. Whatever seems like it could be among your favorites this year, at the moment, it can be. Reality will bust down the door eventually, but today, we’re focusing on an idealized world. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could live there permanently and not deal with all of the nonsense?
Blockbuster fans have a new “Star Wars” episode to look forward to, alongside “Avengers: Endgame,” “Captain Marvel,” and “Joker,” just to name a few. Animation boosters will be waiting with bated breath for “Toy Story 4.” Indie cinema stans will be looking at the Sundance Film Festival for any number of things to get behind. Then, there are the potential awards vehicles. Look no further than to “Ad Astra,” “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” “The Irishman,” “Knives Out,” “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Pale Blue Dot,” and “Us” for possible Oscar players. The list goes on.
That’s just scratching the surface too. We’re eager to hear from you, so dive in and let us know which films have you most excited in 2019!
