With only a few days until the Golden Globes, critics season continues to roll forward. The Iowa Film Critics have officially announced their awards for 2018, and they went their own way in a couple interesting ways. First, Rami Malek wins for Best Actor, earning some hardware as he continues to gain ground against Bradley Cooper. “The Favourite” also grabbed a pair of wins, including wins for Picture and Olivia Colman. “If Beale Street Could Talk” ties “The Favourite” for the lead in wins, also snatching up prizes for Score and Supporting Actor. The three movies dominate the headlines, with “A Star Is Born” finding it’s way to a win and a few runner-up designations. The full list of winners and runners-up can be found below.
