**Circuit Q&A’s are our daily community question, posed to the readers of AwardsCircuit that cover various topics from film and television to general wonderings and for instances**
Well now, that was something, wasn’t it? Last night, the 76th Golden Globes went down, marking the first real telecast awards show of the season. As always, it was an event not to be missed. You presumably saw who and what won, alongside where the upsets occurred. Clayton will have his thoughts on how it impacted the Oscar race. Today though, we’re asking you all for your favorite moment or moments from last night’s Globes ceremony.
Maybe you were partial to the opening monologue? Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg had the honors this year, showcasing a new hosting duo. Perhaps they made you completely forget about Tina Fey and Amy Pohler? If they blew you away, you might be hot for them to return next year, as well as in future years to come?
It also could have been one of the winners, either their win itself or perhaps a speech? “Bohemian Rhapsody” pulled off a Best Picture – Drama upset. Glenn Close blew the roof off of the joint when accepting her Best Actress in a Drama statue for “The Wife.” “A Star Is Born” fans got to see Lady Gaga on the stage for Best Original Song, so that may really do it for you. Or, one of the other honorees? “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” taking the Best Animated Feature prize thrilled Clayton, that’s for sure. Mahershala Ali avenged his Best Supporting Actor upset loss a few years ago, while “First Man” got on the board with a televised win. “Green Book” had the best night overall, so if you loved that film, that had to be a highlight.
Whatever it was that struck your fancy, we want to know all about it. Trust us, we’re eager to hear from you, so dive right in and let us know which Golden Globe moments last night were your favorite!
