February doesn’t have the bad rap that January gets, but it’s no December. More and more, however, the month is bringing interesting offerings to the table. This time around, February 2019 is no exception. There’s a few really strong titles coming out, along with a ton of variety. As the month begins, we have something to ask you, as you might have guessed. Which February releases are you most eager to check out?
There’s something for just about everyone this month. It almost feels like a spring release schedule, not one for the dead of winter. February brings us a great Liam Neeson vehicle in “Cold Pursuit,” a big time animated sequel in “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part,” and the surprise Sundance Film Festival offering “Fighting with My Family.” Hell, there’s another animated franchise offering in “How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.” Big budget spectacle fans also have “Alita: Battle Angel” to take in. This is only a handful of the month’s choices too. It may well be one of the better February slates ever.
We already have something out in the world worth mentioning. Netflix dropped “Velvet Buzzsaw” on the first of the month, so if you haven’t gotten around to it, that’s something to check out. The streaming service also is about to debut Steven Soderbergh‘s latest in “High Flying Bird,” so keep that in mind as well. These won’t even demand that you leave your home in order to take them in!
The choice is yours. Which releases in the month of February are you looking forward to?
