    Can someone tell me why they underestimate Baby Driver that much?

    • Because it’s a summer release, and not the type of film that typically stirs academy attention.

    Detroit’s highlight is sound EDITING not mixing, do you even know the difference?
    The “musical” of this year with already good reviews is Baby Driver, TGSM is in no way getting a better reception, is too light and predictable even without being screened yet.
    Blade Runner is a much more obvious choice.
    I don’t think anything can take Dunkirk down in this one.
