All good things must come to an end. Season 16 of Dancing with the Stars is officially over and a new winner has been announced. With an exciting season filled with talented celebrities, it must have been difficult for viewers to decide on a winner.  With Alexandra Raisman coming in fourth and Jacoby Jones landing in third, that left Zendaya and Kellie Pickler fighting for the top spot.

dancingwiththestarsIt’s the final week of Dancing with the Stars and unfortunately this relationship must come to an end. Until next season of course. On this final week of dancing, the stars must dance a judge’s pick routine, a Cha Cha relay and the infamous freestyle dance. It’s well known in the Dancing with the Stars world whoever scores the highest on their freestyle wins the competition. This is the final chance the stars will get to prove they have the right moves to win. So who is our winner? Let’s review.

Next week is the finale of Dancing with the Stars, and I have to admit that this is the strongest group of celebrities fighting for the mirror ball trophy. Any one of them could win and I would be happy with the results. The four stars safe to compete next week, have worked their asses off to be in the finale and deserve to win.

dancingwiththestarsIt’s coming down to the wire on Dancing with the Stars. With next week being the finals, the stars knew if they didn’t perform they wouldn’t make it. Each star did the best they could, but there’s only one star that deserves to be eliminated Tuesday night. Let’s review.

With the Semi-finals next week on Dancing with the Stars, one celebrity isn’t going to make it. Even though I made the wrong prediction, we all knew this would be the next star eliminated. Monday night he showed no improvement and danced as though it was the first week of competition. While I wish someone else had been eliminated, he was never going to make it all the way.

dancingwiththestarsSometimes I enjoy Dancing with the Stars so much that I forget the season has to come to an end at some point. With the Semi- Finals right around the corner, the judges are stricter with their scoring and expect much more from the remaining celebrities. Monday night the stars danced one individual dance and were then challenged to a trio dance. The trio dance is a challenge they introduced to the show a few seasons ago. For those of you who have forgotten, each couple invites a pro dancer into their routine and they all just dance together. Either the celebrity succeeds or they fail, and tonight two stars did not do very well. Let’s review. Read more on Dancing with the Stars: Week 8…

I won’t beat around the bush about the elimination Tuesday night on Dancing with the Stars. Since week one, a lot of viewers have admired Andy Dick’s motivation to continue improving on the dance show competition. But while we admired him, we wondered when it would be his time to be eliminated. Ingo Rademacher and Andy Dick were the two stars in the bottom two.

dancingwiththestarsWeek seven on Dancing with the Stars has brought a Latin challenge and a dance off for the celebrities to fight through. Last week during the elimination episode, it became apparent which two stars are the weak links. With one of them doing slightly better than the other Monday night, it’s clear which star will be going home next. Let’s review.

With a few stars underperforming Monday night on Dancing with the Stars, it was no shock which stars landed in the bottom two Tuesday night. Boxer Victor Ortiz and bachelor star Sean Lowe were voted the bottom two stars after performing poorly.

So who goes home? The boxer who can’t seem to move his hips or the hunk who proved to have no musicality?

dancingwiththestarsIt’s now week six on Dancing with the Stars and the stars are challenged to perform their usual dance and a group dance. With many of the stars improving their dancing abilities, it’s those who are no improving that are being sent home. But it’s obvious watching the stars dance who’s going to make it to the finals and who’s going to be eliminated sooner than later. On Stevie Wonder night, who excelled and who failed to impress? Let’s review.

It’s halfway through the Dancing with the Stars season and it’s time for another star to get eliminated. Monday night was the side by side challenger where the stars were forced to dance side by side with a professional couple. This challenged showed their dancing ability and what they’ve learned thus far. But with another elimination it’s only natural the star with the least amount of dance potential get sent home. Tuesday night boxer Victor Ortiz and comedian D.L. Hughley were chosen as the bottom two contenders.

dancingwiththestarsWe have reached the half-way point on Dancing with the Stars and the challenges are only getting tougher. This week the stars will compete side to side with a professional couple to reveal their true dancing abilities. At first I thought this was a terrible idea because more than half of these stars don’t dance well, but it turned out to be a success. Which star will be sent home Tuesday night? Let’s review.

Monday was an emotional night of dancing on Dancing with the Stars. Yet, Tuesday has come and someone must get eliminated. Reality star Lisa Vanderpump and boxing star Victor Ortiz were the last two stars standing Tuesday night. Yes, that means D.L. gets to dance another week. So who’s goes home? I predicted Lisa Vanderpump.

dancingwiththestarsIt’s week four on Dancing with the Stars! After last week’s elimination of well-known country star and low scorer Wynonna Judd, the stars are determined to give their best dance this week. With it being memory week, the stars look back to the best year of their life and portray that emotion through dance, while also performing a solo within the dance. I have to say, this week was boring; the stars we expected to score high did and the stars we expected to score low did. We had two surprise average scorers of the night but the question still stands. Who will get eliminated Tuesday night? Let’s review. Read more on Dancing with the Stars: Week 4…

Monday on Dancing with the Stars, few impressed while many of the stars fell to the bottom of the leaderboard. The only question remaining is which star was the first to get eliminated. Last week Olympic skater Dorothy Hamill left the show on her own due to injury, so this next star is the first star eliminated this season. So who is it? The comedian who’s horrible at dancing, the boxer who was in the bottom two last week, the reality star or a popular singer? Let’s find out.

After weeks of competition, the winner of Dancing with the Stars All-Stars is…

    Melissa Rycroft.

This season Melissa Rycroft was the only non-Olympic contestant to step outside of her comfort zone and take risks during her performances. It’s easy to do flips when you know how to, but Rycroft put it all on the table and it’s nice to see someone who hasn’t won a season win this time around. This win was very much deserved with Melissa coming in first place, Shawn Johnson in second and Kelly Monaco in third. It’s been a great season. I can’t wait to see what they will do next season!

It’s the Finals on Dancing with the Stars All-Stars!! This is the first time in Dancing with the Stars history that three women have made it to the finale to compete for the mirror ball trophy. Monday night the stars were tasked with the challenged of performing a repeat dance and a super-sized freestyle. With their repeat dance they were able to choose any routine performed throughout the show and better it for high scores. And for their super-sized freestyle they were given the freedom to do any style of dancing with any number of dancers. Tuesday night the stars will dance one last round before the eliminations begin. As for now, let’s discuss who will make it to the final two.

    • Hello again, fans of The Awards Circuit. We hope you all had an extremely fulfilling (and filling) Thanksgiving Weekend! This week brought us a host of events, perhaps none more involving than the official launch of Academy Idol Season 6. Last Sunday, we asked you to VOTE for your favorite film(s) amongst the competing Original Films fighting for a spot as a Top 13 Finalist. Which five moved on to become the first members of this elite group? Here are your results. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see your favorite movie among the lineup. Chances are that the AC staff will save some fan favorites to fight another day during next week’s Wild Card Show, which will also include two films chosen by Editor-in-Chief Clayton Davis that weren’t in the original Top 26 lineup. We hope you contributed your suggestions on the matter, as they will greatly aid Clayton in the decision-making process.  Read more on Circuit Round-Up (Week Ending 11/25)…
