This is a nice quick glimpse at what we will see in Disney’s newest film, Planes, directed by Klay Hall. The clip is about two and a half minutes long, and is set to the film’s score by composer Mark Mancina. Voice talents include Dane Cook, Stacy Keach, Brad Garrett, Teri Hatcher, Cedric the Entertainer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, John Cleese, and more! Planes has an ETA for theaters on August 9.
We have some exciting new concept art and first look footage from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ new film, Big Hero 6, due out in 2014. Big Hero 6 will be an action/comedy animated feature about Hiro Hamada, a brilliant robotics prodigy who gets involved in a criminal plot that might destroy the high-tech city of San Fransokyo. Hiro must then join forces with a makeshift group of crime fighters to save their city. The film is inspired by the Marvel comic of the same name and is slated to hit theaters November 7, 2014. Continuing to expand on their successful slate of previous films, Pixar has announced that Finding Dory will swim its way into theaters November 25, 2015.

Walt Disney is bringing The Odd Life of Timothy Green to the big screen, and promises that it will be the most magical family movie of the year! The family drama/comedy is rated PG and will be released on August 15, 2012. The film tells the story of a married couple without children, until young Timothy arrives straight from their garden and brings a whole new and unexpected source of inspiration and happiness to their lives. The Odd Life of Timothy Green is directed by Peter Hedges (Dan in Real Life) and stars Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton, Dianne Wiest, CJ Adams, Rosemarie DeWitt, Ron Livingston, M. Emmet Walsh, Odeya Rush, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lois Smith, David Morse and Common.

The Walt Disney Studios announced today at CinemaCon that Jack White will write, produce and perform the score for Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ highly anticipated The Lone Ranger. White, who today released his first solo album “Blunderbuss” to critical acclaim, is a musician, singer, songwriter and producer who first achieved notoriety as the lead guitarist and vocalist of the rock band The White Stripes and then as a member of The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. The LoneRangerwill mark White’s first foray into feature film scoring.
