2015 Emmy Predictions – Best Supporting Actress (Drama)

Lena-Headey-Game-Of-Thrones6FINAL EMMY PREDICTIONS: The Supporting Actress ladies have much potential for double and perhaps triple showings from the same shows.  “Orange is the New Black” competing in Drama will bring Uzo Aduba, Lorraine Toussaint, Kate Mulgrew, and Laverne Cox within an ear shot of a nomination.  There’s a possibility that all four can make it but with Emmy favorite “Downton Abbey” lurking, they could welcome Maggie Smith, Joanne Froggat, and Elizabeth McGovern into the mix.  And then there’s “Goodbye” possibilities for Christina Hendricks and January Jones.  “Game of Thrones” will have both Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey moving strong towards their first awards while Carrie Coon will try to wave her goodwill from “Gone Girl” into her first nomination for “The Leftovers” along with co-star Ann Dowd.  And finally there’s the new kid on the block called “Bloodline” with Oscar-winner Sissy Spacek and the beautiful Linda Cardellini that could come into play.  Check back for more.
