SarahPaulson_JunketThe buzz surrounding Steve McQueen’s “12 Years a Slave” has reached epic proportions.  Many from Telluride and Toronto were quick to crown it the winner of the year before seeing anything else.  Now, Fox Searchlight Pictures has the daunting task of being deemed the frontrunner and surviving any backlash that may come its way.

Nearly two weeks later, I can’t shake the film from my mind.  I’m dying to see it again actually, especially to view the works of Lupita Nyong’o and Sarah Paulson, both of which are emotional pillars of the film.  In my next round of predictions, I’m looking to include both in Supporting Actress, a category that typically goes for two women from the same film.

Down below you can see the highlights of the interviews performed in New York City recently (where Awards Circuit was in attendance) courtesy of Fox Searchlight Pictures.
