Coming off their (well, technically Pixar’s) win for last year’s female-directed Brave, Disney preps for its next animated feature helmed by a woman with Frozen.  Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen,” the wintry adventure tale follows another spirited female protagonist as she navigates through the frozen landscape.  While the first trailer for the film looked a bit too much like Ice Age (2002) for my enthusiastic liking, I have faith the final product will be something quite different.  This one might be at the forefront of the Best Animated Feature category, especially since Pixar churned out a rehashed prequel this year.
